PETER Grant, MP for Kinglassie and Cardenden, has kicked off his next run of surgeries with visits to Kennoway, Methil, Glenrothes and Leven.

Over the summer, Peter toured the Glenrothes and Central Fife constituency, trying out various new venues for his surgeries along the way.

This included a successful new ‘coffee and chat’ venture hosted by local cafes with two of the venues in Cardenden and Kinglassie.

Now that Parliament has resumed, Peter has started up his usual regular Friday/Saturday surgeries, using a few of the new venues.

Indeed, he will be a Dave's Diner, in Cardenden on Friday October 20 and and at the Mitchell Hall, Kinglassie, on December 14.

Commenting, Peter said: “My summer surgery tour was a great success.

"It was good to try out some coffee shops as a less formal alternative to my usual venues and get the chance to have a chat with constituents over a cuppa – and let’s not forget the mountains of cake!

"Many of these places worked really well so I’ll be using them again as part of my regular surgery schedule from now until Christmas.

“You don’t need to make an appointment to come to my surgeries – constituents should feel free to come along for a chat should they need my help with anything at all.  The full list of surgery dates and times are available on my website www.petergrant.scot or by contacting my office".

He concluded: “Remember if you need urgent assistance that can’t wait, I have a fantastic team in my constituency office who can help – just give them a call, drop in during opening hours or send an email to peter.grant.mp@parliament.uk.”
