A DRUG addict who stole from Tesco found himself on a restriction of liberty order this week.
Christopher Fraser, 33, of Walker Street, Cowdenbeath, appeared for sentencing at Dunfermline Sheriff Court on Wednesday after previously admitting that on June 30, he stole a quantity of electrical goods and batteries from Tesco in Dunfermline.
The value of the items stolen came to £22.50.
Solicitor, James Moncrieff, said his client had had a drug problem for quite some time.
"He is still suffering from issues relating to his addiction," he said. "He can spend up to £40 per day on drugs."
Sheriff Charles Macnair placed Fraser on a community payback order with a two year supervision requirement and put him on a restriction of liberty order for four months.
