THIS week's Down Memory Lane selection comes from Cowdenbeath man Ian Howe and the Times old photo drawer.
Ian kept a hold of these pictures of the Comrie Colliery Rescue Team No 2 from 1980 and also the Cowdenbeath Fire Brigade unit he was part of.
The Comrie rescue team shows back row, Jim Campbell, Robert Smith, Ian McNeill, George Stewart, George Le Blond, Alan Howie and George Herriot. Front, Eric Savage, Tom McGowan (vice captain), Ian Howe (captain) and William Clarke.
The Cowdenbeath retained fire fighting team in 1982 pictured is back row M Philbin, F Philbin, R Robertson, I Millar, I Howe and R Drummond. Front, C Black, J Hoggan (sub officer), R Mercer senior, R Mercer junior.
The pictures from the Times photo drawer are from Lochgelly West Primary School, the school team who won this trophy in 1971 and the Christmas show of around the same era.
