Raider hits chemists shop
POLICE are investigating a raid on the Cowdenbeath branch of Gordons Chemists on Friday afternoon.
A person entered the Broad Street premises just after 4pm and is believed to have been carrying some sort of weapon.
Staff were shocked by the incident which came at towards the end of the working day.
Of course the incident occurred at a place of business literally around the corner from Cowdenbeath Police Station and officers were soon on the scene.
Police confirmed that they were investigating an incident in Broad Street on Friday afternoon.
It is the second such incident to happen near the police station, with an attempt made to rob the Cowdenbeath Post Office in High Street in January.
