TWO groups of learners at Lochgelly High School had an amazing morning when they were afforded the opportunity to meet Principal Officer Susan Wilson from the United States Consulate.
Susan and Programmes Manager, Robbie McGregor, met with Senior Phase students, studying History, Modern Studies and People and Society, to help them to understand more about the United States and the role of the Consulate, alongside dispelling some of the myths and fears associated with the country – it was truly informative.
Our photo attached, however, shows an exciting session with Principal Officer Wilson and some of the S3 girls.
During the session, the girls were shown the importance of self-esteem and high expectations. They were told to 'reach for the stars' and referred to as “super awesome young ladies”! We agree!
