THE Spirit of Lochgelly Community Group have raised £600 which will go towards making it a good Christmas for residents at the town's three residential homes.
The cash was raised at a fundraising event held in Torleys when SKA band PORKPIE took part and made it a great event for the packed crowd.
Said Spirit of Lochgelly's Karen Yeoman: "They went down brilliantly they're already booked again for next year.
"The £600 raised from profit on ticket sales and our raffle will be split equally between the three local OAP care homes."
This will the second time the care homes have benefitted from Spirit's October adult events while local schools benefitted in the summer this year.
Added Karen: "We had great backing from the public for the Torleys event which made the total possible and hopefully local causes will be able to continue to benefit."
