The SNP confirmed this week that their candidate for the Glenrothes West and Kinglassie Fife Council by-election is Julie Ford.
The by-election follows the resignation of Peter Grant, who was elected as the MP for the Glenrothes Constituency in May and polling day will be in early October.
Julie is experienced campaigner for social justice and equality.
She said, “I am passionately dedicated to the local community and live in Glenrothes”.
She is a graduate of Dundee University and works for Shona Robinson MSP, in Dundee. Julie has extensive experience in assisting constituents and diligently working towards the SNP’s vision of a social democratic Scotland.
