KELTY & Blairadam Novice Juvenile Pipe ended the 2014 competition season with a first place at Pitlochry Games.
Most of the players have come through the primary schools in the Cowdenbeath area to attain competition standard in Kelty & Blairadam Pipe Band.
The coaching sessions came from an initiative backed by funding from Cowdenbeath Area Committee and a number of youngsters at local primary children have taken advantage of it to enjoy piping. The band would like to thank everyone who has helped them out throughout the course of this season. One of their mentors, David Miller, said the band will be working hard on their new music over the winter in readiness for another successful season in 2015.
