THE way Jonathan Watson tackles playing roles and writing hit shows will be on the agenda at Dunfermline's Carnegie Hall on Sunday May 13.

Jonathan is an actor and writer, known for Filth (2013), Let Us Prey (2014) and Play for Today (1970), as well as writing and directing hit sketch show, Only An Excuse.

At the Carnegie Hall, Ross Owen talks to Jonathan about his varied career followed by audience Question and Answer session.

Born in Glasgow and educated at Hillhead High School he trained at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and graduated in 1979.

Jonathan joined the TAG Theatre Company then followed this with a season with the 7:84 company and had a part in Bill Forsyth's 1983 film Local Hero.

He moved to London in 1986 and returned to Scotland two years later and appeared in all five seasons of Naked Video that were broadcast on BBC Scotland between 1986 and 1991. He was also in City Lights, Rab C. Nesbitt and Only an Excuse?
