ALADDIN is coming to the Alhambra Theatre and we've got tickets to give away for the Christmas pantomime – oh yes we have!

The magical tale will hit the stage in Dunfermline in December and we've got two sets of family tickets, for two adults and two children, to be won.

Featuring an all-star cast of stage and screen, the show is set to dazzle audiences with superb sets, amazing costumes, a full live orchestra and all the fun and magic we've come to expect from the annual Alhambra pantomime.

Taking the title role of Aladdin is Joshua Haynes, star of CBeebies ‘Molly and Mack’, alongside his onscreen partner Danielle Jam who plays the role of Princess Jasmine.

In ‘Molly and Mack’ he plays the role of Mack, brother to Molly, and Danielle plays Daisy, Mack’s love interest.

Molly and Mack has recently filmed a second series, due out soon, and it's filmed at various locations in Scotland with some scenes filmed in West Fife and including scenic shots of the Forth Road Bridge.

Billy Mack returns as the Dame, bringing his infectious charm to the stage in the role of Widow Twankey.

And taking the part of Wishee Washee is Alan Orr.

Billy and Alan have played the dame and comic sidekick roles to rave reviews from both press an audiences alike.

The Genie will be played by Jamie McKillop (star of The Dolls) and he'll bring some pizzazz to the colourful character, who grants Aladdin his three wishes.

Tyler Collins, noted for appearances in the National Theatre of Scotland’s ‘Last Dream’ production and as Hen Broon, in the tour of ‘The Broons’, is set play the character of the six foot six giant Abanazar.

Ian Bustard will direct the production of Aladdin. An actor and director known for films such as ‘The Crow Road’ and ‘A Love Divided’, he will also take the part of the Emperor in this year’s show.

Ian brings a wealth of experience in both film and stage direction and is very much looking forward to bringing Aladdin to the Dunfermline stage.

Claire Fletcher, PR manager for the Alhambra, said: "On behalf of the Alhambra Theatre Trust we are thrilled to announce our all-star cast for Aladdin.

"Our audiences can expect to see all the traditional elements of a family pantomime, and the show promises fun and surprises for all the family.

"Aladdin is not to be missed and we look forward to seeing our audiences at the Alhambra this festive season."

Aladdin is the Alhambra’s 11th pantomime and runs from December 10-28. For more information and ticket details, go to alhambradunfermline.com or call 01383 740384.
