RUBBER Stamp Promotions make their long awaited return to the venue where it all started way back in February 2009 when The Vivians headlined, Lochgelly Town Hall!

That gig was followed by a further three Town Hall gigs that year headlined by Sergeant, Sucioperro and The Ray Summers.

The return of Rubber Stamp Promotions to Lochgelly Town Hall is on Saturday October 26 and what a belter of a gig it is to return with, for the first time since November 2009! Two excellent tributes to iconic Scottish bands Simple Minds and Deacon Blue, namely Simple Minded and Deacon Blues have been booked for this one.

All the big hits from both of these iconic bands will be played on the night and much, much more! Simple Minded of course played Rockore this year and they received a rousing reception after their outstanding set from the 3,500 strong crowd.🎶

Simple Minded have been lauded by past and present members of Simple Minds including singer Jim Kerr.

All the guys in the band are massive Simple Minds fans, so there's a great deal of energy and enthusiasm in the band to deliver a brilliant set. In the band's own words they love what they do, absolutely love it and hope everyone who comes to their gigs loves it too.

Singer George and bass player Stevie have both worked with original Simple Minds members, Derek Forbes and Brian McGee, on their own projects. I guess this really underlines the authenticity of Simple Minded and validates what this group is all about. They really are a band that you must see performing live!

Deacon Blues is the only Deacon Blue tribute band! For the first time they want to bring the music of Deacon Blue to the fans in intimate venues. They work the bands back catalogue and incorporate fans favourites with some rarities.

All the 100 special offer priced tickets at £12 have sold out for this gig and the tickets have now reverted to the normal price of £15.

Tickets can be purchased from the Junction Bar Cowdenbeath, Torleys Bar Lochgelly and online from Ticketweb. Doors open at 7pm on the night.
