FIFERS can buy their very own unique piece of art from a vending machine during the Central Fife Open Studios.

The Artbotic vending machine will at the Kelty studio of artist Vanessa Gibson during the event, along with Melody the Moosic Coo, a sculpture Vanessa decorated for Dunfermline Community Council.

Now in its fifth year, members of the public are invited to visit the studios and workshops of 30 artists and designers over the weekends of 7 and 8 September and 14 and 15 September between 10.30am and 6pm.

Vanessa, who paints and draws song lyrics on everything from furniture to brooches said: “The Artobotic vending machine is great fun – you can vend a piece of surprise art for £10. It’s the only Artobotic machine currently outside Edinburgh and will contain work by Phil Jupitus as well as myself and fellow artists from Kelty Street Art Collective. I also decorated this particular trendy vendy with Abba “take a chance on me” lyrics. Melody will be in the front garden, so my studio won’t be easy to miss!”
