GREASE Sing-a-long is a Dementia Friendly Film Screening - Open to all but especially for people with dementia and their family, friends and carers.

It will be at Lochgelly Centre on Friday May 17 and is worth a look.

Get your black leathers and your pink jackets at the ready. Enjoy reliving and singing your hearts out to hits such as Summer Nights, You’re the One that I Want and Greased Lightnin’!

This screening offers those living with dementia an opportunity to see the film in a relaxed and welcoming environment, where the lights are turned up and the sound is turned down.

Grease is a 1978 American musical romantic comedy film based on the 1971 musical of the same name by Jim Jacobs and Warren Casey. Written by Bronte Woodard and directed by Randal Kleiser in his theatrical feature film debut, the film depicts the lives of greaser Danny Zuko and Australian transfer student Sandy Olsson who develop an attraction for each other. The film stars John Travolta as Danny, Olivia Newton-John as Sandy, and Stockard Channing as Betty Rizzo, the leader of the Pink Ladies.
