LOCHGELLY and District Amateur Musical Association's 2019 production is Evita.

This is an amateur production by arrangement with The Musical Company, Ltd, and will have the team from LADAMA enjoying playing their part in the famous Argentinian story.

With lyrics by Time Rice, music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, and originally Directed by Harold Prince this is quite a production for the Lochgelly artistes to take on.

The musical began as a rock opera concept album released in 1976. Its success led to productions in London's West End in 1978, winning the Laurence Olivier Award for Best Musical, and on Broadway a year later, where it was the first British musical to receive the Tony Award for Best Musical.

Now LADAMA have been working really hard to make this a magnificent success for them which will run from May 29 to June 1 at Lochgelly Centre Theatre.
