MATA Hari Female Spy, written and Directed by Gavin Robertson (“The Six-Sided Man”) will be at Lochgelly Centre later this month.
The show will be performed by Katharine Mary with original music by Danny Bright.
The story is about the Great War: while millions of men struggle and fight in the mud and hell of the trenches, one woman’s tale begs to be told.
Mata Hari, the most notorious female spy in history. Or was she? Maybe a dancer, lover, confidante, and liar!
Mata Hari, was a Dutch exotic dancer and courtesan who was convicted of being a spy for Germany during World War I and executed by firing squad in France
100 years after her execution. Inspired by her own words… using dance, acting and a minimal set - this is her story… the story of a set-up?
It is at Lochgelly Centre on Friday August 31.
