THERE are is whole series of Fife based items ready to take the stage as the Edinburgh Fringe goes into full swing.

Bon The Musical will be at the Greenside at Nicolson Square from August 3 to 25.

From the award winning Kingdom Theatre Company, a World Premiere musical. Based in Fife as a registered charity, the Company promote new writing and training in the performing arts. This is their sixth Edinburgh Fringe.

Born in Scotland Bon Scott emigrated to Australia and joined rock band AC/DC to become a legend. Starring ex-Nazareth vocalist, Linton Osborne, as Bon, the trials and the triumphs are recalled with new original songs by Willie Logan along with some Bon classics performed live.

Kelty Clippie The Musical is also at the Greenside at Nicolson Square

from August 10 to 25.

Based on the popular classic folksong, Kelty Clippie follows the comic adventures of a bus conductress in Fife. Maggie (Jacqueline Hannan) gets trained up on her new job and surely this is a career for life? She meets some interesting characters and ends up in the legendary Kelty Club but will she find romance? The show is written by John Murray and directed by Laura Reed.

An Evening With Michael Bubbles is at the Greenside August 3 to 9.

Fresh from last year’s Bubbles and Martini sell out hit; this show features the forever charming Michael Buble tribute host, Jamie Walker, taking the audience on a journey of swing and movie medleys from blockbusters like La La Land and De-Lovely. Featuring showstoppers like Feelin' Good and with some glamorous company beautiful duets like Cole Porter musical classic So In Love. Mr Bubbles invites you to ‘pop’ along to his show: No Champagne Included where you can sit back, relax, smile and sing along on this toe-tapping, feel-good audience participation trip through time.

The majority of the cast and crew are local students gaining experience in performance and stage craft.
