RAVI Coltrane Quartet and Konrad Wiszniewski’s New Focus Quartet will be at the Adam Smith Theatre at the start of March.
Ravi Coltrane carries the flame for searing modern jazz excitement. The saxophonist and his Quartet play high octane contemporary jazz rooted in the New York tradition with dazzling power and panache.
He’s made a string of classic albums for Blue Note, and brings probably his best band ever - David Virelles on piano, Dezron Douglas on bass and Johnathan Blake on drums.
Wiszniewksi’s Quartet, with Euan Stevenson on piano, opens the show with heart-lifting and hauntingly original pieces.
This event goes on at the Kirkcaldy theatre on Monday 2nd March.
