SIMPSON John Peacefully, at Abbotsford Care Home, Cowdenbeath, on Wednesday 23rd December 2020, John, aged 90 years from Cowdenbeath. He was a dearly loved husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather who will be sadly missed. Due to the current restrictions, the funeral service on Monday 11th January 2021 at Kirkcaldy Crematorium will be private.

John was a direct no nonsense Councillor with Cowdenbeath and Dunfermline Burgh and District Councils as well as Provost of Fife Council. He had my utmost respect as a true representative of the communities in Fife. Alan Davidson.
