LOCHGELLY based, Rubber Stamp Promotions, have booked top Scottish Oasis tribute combo, Stop The Clocks, to play Wee Jimmies, Cowdenbeath, on Saturday 15th August, with support coming from local band The Sunset Spirit.

Tickets can be purchased from Wee Jimmies or Ticketweb at a cost of £6 and doors open at 8pm.

Stop The Clocks will be playing around a 2 hour 30 minute set at this gig, so it’s one not to be missed by Oasis fans!

Stop The Clocks are a 5 piece Oasis tribute band from Central Scotland. One member of the band, Kyle Farrell, who joined Stop The Clocks earlier this year, hails from Cowdenbeath, so this will be a local gig for him.

The band look to replicate that unique Oasis sound, whilst capturing the spirit of the band of our generation.

The band tour all over the UK and every album from ‘Definitely Maybe’ up to ‘Dig Out Your Soul’ is referenced in their set lists.

Playing the big hits, the classics and a string of renowned ‘B’ sides, the band will be playing a set of around 2 hours 30 minutes giving the back catalogue of quality Oasis songs they have to choose from the full works.

The Sunset Spirit are a 5 piece indie rock band, hailing from Cowdenbeath.

Covering a range of topics relating to modern society, love and war, The Sunset Spirit good feel sound has led to comparisons being drawn to bands such as Cast and Belle And Sebastian, which makes them a band to look out for in 2015.

At this gig 2 members of the band will be playing an acoustic set, Stuart Shields, who also fronts The Complete Stone Roses and ex Wolfmonkey member Shaun Sneddon (Wolf).
