To get you in the mood for TITP2015 the promoters are delighted to announce that world phenomenon Fatboy Slim will play an official T in the Park Warm Up Party on Thursday 9th July at Subclub, Glasgow. Before taking to the decks at Strathallan Castle on Friday 10th July, he will be playing from 11pm-2am in Glasgow to get the party started!

Here is the essential information that you’ll need to ensure your journey to the Festival’s new home at Strathallan Castle is as easy and stress free as possible so you can start your party early!

Citylink is the official transport provider and is the fastest and greenest way to travel to T in the Park. Their coach services will drop you off at the festival entrances and campsite entrance so no long walks from car parks with all your camping gear…phew!

Citylink coaches will operate from Glasgow, Edinburgh, Perth, and Dundee as well as 66 other locations across the country taking you directly to the festival drop off points. Tickets for all Citylink services must be bought in advance at citylink.co.uk (http://www.citylink.co.uk) or by calling 0871 266 33 33.

Please note that there are NO pedestrian walking routes to or from the festival site.

If you are driving to the event please car share if you can! Plan your journey well in advance by checking out the advised route from your location on our website tinthepark.com/travel (http://www.tinthepark.com/travel) or trafficscotland.org/tinthepark (http://www.trafficscotland.org/tinthepark).

Even if you know the area well, please stick to these routes as these are the only routes that are available to access the site.

There will be a number of local road closures in place and other restrictions to minimise traffic disruption on other routes during the festival.

Don’t travel by car before 10am on Thursday and Friday to avoid busy commuter times and leave yourselves plenty of time to get there. Also keep an eye on the T in the Park micro-site trafficscotland.org (http://www.trafficscotland.org) on the day and follow #TITPinfo – this will offer real-time information throughout the weekend at peak travel times.

If you are travelling by train the easiest way to get to T in the Park is to travel to Glasgow, Edinburgh or Perth train stations then jump on the Citylink shuttle bus service which will drop you at the site entrance.

If you decide to travel to Gleneagles train station, you should then use the T in the Park shuttle bus service available outside the station to reach the festival site – Remember there are NO pedestrian walking routes to or from the festival site.

There are no train services back to any main city centre late at night so please make sure to plan your journey home if you are arriving at the festival for the day. Links to all travel information for Scotrail is available via scotrail.co.uk (https://www.scotrail.co.uk) or using the ScotRail app.

Getting dropped off. Please only use the designated drop off points – these are for private cars and taxis to specifically drop off and go. You cannot park here!

Parking your car. Parking tickets can only be purchased on entry to the car park. Each car park has a name and number, please make sure you take a note of where you park on arrival so you can find your way back.

Arriving by mini bus. Mini buses will drop off in the designated private coaches’ area. To avoid confusion, remember the name of your drop off point and make sure that the driver coming to collect you knows it too.

Make sure you take a look at car park rules. Vehicle searches will be in place over the weekend and if there is evidence of rules being broken access to the festival may be refused and vehicles removed. A full list can be found at tinthepark.com/travel (http://www.tinthepark.com/travel.aspx) .
