SNOW White is the enchanting must-see musical adventure for Christmas 2014!

A feast of festive fun for the whole family, this magical Christmas show is ON at Carnegie Hall from Friday 28th November to Wednesday 24th December and Times readers have the chance to win a Family Ticket worth £44 for the show on its opening night, 28th November.

The team that brought you the wonderful Hansel and Gretel and Pinocchio are back with a brand new show, offering a fresh take on a familiar tale. Snow White may be one of the world’s best-known and best-loved fairy tales – but you’ve never seen it like this before! A magical, mystical and very Scottish take on the fable, the story is set in the Highlands – a land of Heather and Haggis, of Lochs and Lairds, of Thistles, Stags, Timorous Beasties and Irn Bru!

The evil Queen Vultura casts the trusting young Snow White into the depths of the forest, where she meets seven very special little friends…..

ON at Fife are delighted to present Snow White in partnership with Müller Wiseman Dairies who have supported school visits from across Scotland.

This enchanting Christmas show sees the return of some of the favourite faces of Fife’s Christmas past. Lauren Grant, Amelie in 2012’s Sleeping Beauty, plays the innocent, beautiful and naïve Snow White, and we also have a welcome return for River City’s Pamela Byrne, a star turn in both Pinocchio and Sleeping Beauty.

Pamela is relishing the prospect of playing her first baddie – the evil Queen Vultura. Snow White also stars American Tyler Collins, who was absolutely fantastic as Eduardo the Fox last year in Pinocchio.

The cast also includes Scottish Comedian of the Year nominee, and creator of the outrageous comedy character Jellybean Martinez, Matthew Ellis making his Carnegie Hall debut as Prince Rupert of Repugnia, along with an exciting success story for young Fife lad. Daniel Paton, a young actor from Kinghorn, who was superb in the recent production of Phantom of the Opera by Youth Music Theatre Scotland at Adam Smith Theatre, and graduates here to his first professional role as Callum the Kitchen Boy. A team of local young performers join the professional cast.

Snow White is written by Alan McHugh, the man behind I Dreamed a Dream, the Susan Boyle play, as well as many successful pantomimes in Fife and across Scotland, and directed by Jonathan Stone, continuing his long association with ON at Fife Theatres. With set designer Alison Irwin, costume designer Margaret Moffat; and musical director Karen McIvor on board, this Christmas show is guaranteed to be filled with magnificent sets and costumes as well as marvellous music!

Running from Friday 28th November to Wednesday 24th December 2014, the story of Snow White and her seven very special little friends is one of the world’s best loved fairy tales. Come and see her like never before in this magical Scottish adventure at Carnegie Hall, full of fabulous festive fun for the whole family, with marvellous music and cracking comedy! Tickets are available for as little as £10.50, and are on sale now.

To win the Family Ticket for the show on 28th November tell us where Daniel Paton hails from and send your entry to the Times Office, 17 Bank Street, Lochgelly, KY5 9QQ by Monday 21st November.
