TREASURE Island is a treasure of a pantomime, a hilarious swashbuckling tale full of panto fun and adventure.

It runs at The Pavilion Theatre, in Glasgow, from 26th November until 18th January and we have five Family Tickets up for grabs by Times readers.

Join young Jim Hawkins (Stephen Purdon, Bob from River City); who inherits a long lost treasure map and embarks on the biggest adventure of his life on board the Hispaniola with the good Captain Smollett, played by Clark Stewart (top left), at the helm. Clark is a man who has been a stalwart of Kelty Musical Association for many years and is popular with Cowden-Gelly audiences.

Will Jim find his fortune? Or will dastardly Long John Silver (James Mackenzie), stand in his way? The show features original characters Billy Bones, Blind Pew, Dr Livesey, Ben Gunn,, Molly and not forgetting the dreaded Black Spot.

With an all star cast including Johnny Mac (left) as the faithful Parrot Peck, Michelle McManus and Cat Harvey (above) as Bill and the lovable Pirate twins; Gary Lamont as Mr Birdseye, Leah MacRae as Black Dog, James McAnearney as the infamous Dr Livesey, Holly Jack as Molly and Douglas Sannachan as Blind Pew.

Get ready to sing along to ‘Fifteen Men on a Dead Man’s Chest’ and ‘Yo-Ho-Ho and A Bottle of Rum’ and many more.

This is a panto of traditional magic and spectacular special effects and is a show that all ages will enjoy.
