IT’S Christmas time again, and boys and girls with stars in their eyes will have the chance to take centre stage as Fife’s theatres open their doors for young people to audition to play a part in the show.

Auditions take place at Adam Smith Theatre, on Monday 1st September at 4pm, and Carnegie Hall, on Tuesday 2nd September at 4pm, and there are parts for children from 7 to 18. Auditions are open to all, from budding thespians to those who’d love to tread the boards for the first time!

If you are aged between 8 and 18 and would love the chance to get up on stage with Billy Mack in this year’s fantastic pantomime, Jack and the Beanstalk, then make sure to mark 4pm on Monday 1st of September in your diary! On the lookout for children who want to dance, sing and perform, this audition at Adam Smith Theatre is open to anyone who wants to share in the joy of performing this Christmas.

Those aged between 7 and 12 are invited to audition for this year’s magical musical Christmas adventure at Carnegie Hall, Snow White, presented in partnership with Müller Wiseman Dairies. If you’d like to be make this Christmas one to remember, then get ready to strut your stuff on Tuesday 2nd September at 4pm in Carnegie Hall! So, if you want to be part of something special this Christmas, then get practising and head along to these open auditions for your chance to share the stage with a professional cast of actors!

Being part of the Company means lots of hard work. You will learn lots about theatre and are expected to bring professionalism to your conduct, both on and off stage.

The show will be the main focus of your lives for almost seven weeks and will not only offer a terrific experience, but will also bring masses of excitement, teamwork and fun.

Successful applicants will have to attend rehearsal sessions from 1pm to 4pm on the 2nd, 9th, 16th and 23rd November along with their scheduled performance dates.

Auditions are with the Production Team. Please wear casual clothes, be prepared to exercise your voice and to try some choreographed dance routines. There’s no need to book a place, just turn up on the day.
