COWDENBEATH may play Dunfermline Atheltic at Central Park in the Fife Cup on Saturday 7th February.
With both sides being out of the Scottish Cup they have a free weekend and it is hoped that the game can be played for the 'Mia Fund' which has been set up to help young Cowden full-back Dean Brett, who lost his 22 year-old partner Gemma last week after a battle against cancer, look after their little daughter Mia.
Mia was born prematurely with little sister Mollie last year only for Mollie to pass away after an illness.
Said Cowden Chief Executive Alex Anderson, "Hopefully the game will go on and Dunfermline have already generously indicated they would be happy to see the gate go to the fund that has been set up to help Dean look after Mia."
