LOCHGELLY Albert Colts 2000’s welcomed Kirkcaldy Eagles Barca to Launcherhead Park on Saturday in the first round of the Fife Cup.
The Colts dictated the early stages and were two goals up in the first 10 minutes before a mix up at the back saw Kirkcaldy pull one back through an own goal with their first attack of the game.
This was to set the tempo of the first half with the score going to 4-2 and then 6-3, before the break.
The second-half saw a lot of changes which broke up the tempo of the game but the Colts managed another four goals without reply.
Goal scorers on the day were Patrick Armour (4), Keir Clemison (3), Ryan Connelly (2) and Reece Couser.
This week sees the Colts at home to Crosshouse Boys Club, from Kilmarnock, in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup at Launcherhead with a 1pm kick-off.
