THE Cowden under 20 side left it late to claim all three points at Station Park last Tuesday night, writes Andy Mullen.
Rudi BROWN, who had come on as an early substitute, opened the scoring for the Loons with 20 minutes gone but within four minutes Craig SUTHERLAND had Cowden back on level terms.
In a dramatic finish Craig SMITH restored the home side’s lead in 76 minutes, but five minutes later SUTHERLAND got his second goal of the night.
Just as it looked like both teams would have to settle for a pointed Liam CALLAGHAN grabbed a dramatic winner two minutes into stoppage time.
