COWDENBEATH will have a new player in their squad tonight when they take on Falkirk in the second round of the League Cup.

After a couple of his plans to bring Premiership players on loan to Central Park failed through injuries, manager Jimmy Nicholl signed Dundee United striker Kudus Oyenuga on loan until January.

The 21 year-old is a former Tottenham Hotspur youth player and the boss is hoping he can help boost his team's firepower.

With Craig Sutherland suffering a knock on Saturday after only six minutes which is like to keep him out for some time Oyenuga is certain to be given a run tonight.

Meanwhile l;eft-back Kenny Adamson is suffering from a knock and will be out while linkman Sammy Stewart is still an absentee.

Iain Campbell will come in for Adamson and Mr Nicholl is looking for an all round improvement at Westfield following the defeat against Alloa at the weekend.

"We made too many errors against Alloa and we need to be sharper against Falkirk," he said.

"We have to tighten up and if we do we can give Falkirk a similar run for their money as in the recent league game."
