COWDENBEATH manager Jimmy Nicholl stepped in on Monday to strengthen his striking options by fixing up Slovenian frontman Danijel Jurisic.
The 25 year-old has moved to Central Park from Austrian club SV Lannach as the manager responded to Saturday's poor performance against Brechin City in the first round of the Petrofac Training Cup.
The striker has shown up well in training and a tall, rangy striker, he increases the options for Mr Nicholl as he looks to get a goal scoring unit ready for the Championship challenge that lies ahead.
Said the manager, "He is a big lad and gives us something different from the other strikers we have."
The manager is looking at another foreign option with Portuguese striker Domingos Agostinho Silveira training with the club.
