COWDENBEATH have been handed an away tie against Clyde in the draw for the first round of the League Cup.
The draw was made this afternoon at Dumbarton's Bet Butler Stadium and the Blue Brazil will travel to Broadwood to face Barry Ferguson's League Two outfit on Saturday 2nd August.
The draw was conducted by Kenny Shiels and former Cowden manager Danny Lennon and Jimmy Nicholl's men will look to better last season's efforts in the tournament, where they bowed out 3-1 to Partick Thistle after extra time in the second round.
