COWDENBEATH have bagged a home with League 1 Brechin City in the first round of the Petrofac Training Services Cup.
The game will be played at Central Park on Saturday 26th July.
City had a good end to last season with them pulling well clear of the relegation zone and manager Ray MacKinnon has an experienced squad to call on.
The tie will give Cowden boss Jimmy Nicholl a really good idea of how his team is developing well ahead of the first Championship fixture.
