COWDENBEATH will lose the services of striker Greg Stewart at the end of the season.

The front man has signed a pre-contract agreement with Championship title chasing Dundee.

But what the situation does do is set up a somewhat strange situation with Cowden set to take the Dees on this Saturday at Dens Park.

If he plays Stewart could score the goal which seriously hinders the Dundee cause in their bid to win instant promotion to the Premiership.

Stewart has spent four seasons at Central Park during which time he has played in one title winning side in 2011-2012, when Colin Cameron's side won what is now League One.

But with young strikers Ben Anthony, Craig Johnston and Jack Nicholson knocking at the door the Blues have talent waiting in the wings.
