COWDENBEATH boss Jimmy Nicholl wants a win tonight against bottom Championship side Morton, no matter what it takes.
He said on Monday, "We are at a stage of the season whereby we need to collect three points.
"How we achieve that is not important, it is the three points that we need to help us get back with the pack of sides just above us.
"Morton also will have the same idea so while it might not be a classic, it will be a tense game with no doubt, plenty of drama." The manager will be without top scorer Kane Hemmings but Darren Brownlie may make it although Nat Wedderburn is suffering from a groin problem.
Midfielder James Fowler will play his last game for the club before returning to Kilmarnock but the boss is hopeful that Rory McKeown will sign up for the remainder of the season.
"Killie have some injury problems and want James back which is a blow but if we can keep Rory that will help our cause," he added.
Hemmings will miss tonight but should be fit for Saturday's home game with Hamilton.
Tonight's match at Central Park has a 7.45pm kick-off.
