Welcoming Cowden's new mascot aboard are development manager Keith Harvey; manager Danny Lennon; and players Scott Linton and Jon Robertson.

COWDENBEATH Football Club is to have a new official mascot in the shape of a black cow.

The mascot was at Kassy's Kitchen on Friday to help with the draw of the Blue Brazil Lottery and drew plenty of attention at the cafe.

Now the club wants the fans to chooose a name for the mascot. Said manager Danny Lennon, "The mascot cuts an imposing figure, now we need a good name for it.

"We hope that the supporters will come up with the perfect name for the figure which will be at all home games."
