Cowdenbeath manager Danny Lennon spent four days with La Liga side Valladodid as part of his quest to get his 'pro' coaching licence.
Danny was a guest of the Spanish club in one of the final parts of his bid to successfully end the two year process.
Now he has to submit his final review of the various stages of the process to the Scottish Football Association by 31st January after which there will be an interview conducted by an SFA panel.
During his four days in Spain the Cowden manager was addressed by former Newcastle manager Kevin Keegan.
He said, "As part of the course we have been addressed by people such as Keegan, Riki Spragia, the former Sunderland boss, Kenny Dalglish, Everton boss Davie Moyes, Blackburn manager Sam Allardyce and Andy Roxburgh.
"They have a wealth of experience and it is all very interesting to hear but one thing that comes over loud and clear from them all is that there is always something new just around the corner.
"They emphasise that you never stop learning in football management."
Danny stressed that the trip to Valladolid had been very interesting.
He said, "You have to pick a European club, visit them and study their methods and report back on what you find.
"I must say that Valladolid were very helpful and I learned some very interesting things over there."
The manager was delighted to be chosen as the Barrs Irn Bru Second Division's manager of the month for November but stressed it is all about team work at Central Park.
"November was another good month for us and saw us go top of the table but we all work together at Cowdenbeath to be successful from the players through to the tea ladies.
"But the players know that they have had to work hard to get to this position and we will be going all out to maintain standards in the weeks ahead."
