There were two special awards for Cowdenbeath on the run up to a recent match with Clyde.

Cowden boss Danny Lennon received the Barrs Irn Bru Second Division manager of the month award for October while midfielder Brian Fairbairn was given a special award for scoring the first goal with the new Irn Bru match ball which has been adopted for Scottish Football League games.

'Frankie's' goal against East Fife in only one minute earned him the gong.

Manager Lennon said that he saw his award as something that had been earned by everyone at the club.

The record in October was played five, won four drawn one, ten goals for and one against.
