The fixtures for the new football season have kept Cowdenbeath"s rivalry with East Stirling going.

The Fifers finished last season with three games against Shire in the space of a week and amazingly Cowden will open the new Barrs Irn Bru Third Division campaign with a game against them at Ochilview on Saturday 8th August.

Indeed, three of Cowden"s first four games are away from home with trips to Berwick Rangers and Albion Rovers following a home game against Montrose.

There is one home game during the festive holiday season with a home game against Shire on Boxing Day while on 2nd January Cowdenbeath are away to Berwick.

The closing day of the season will be 1st May, if there is no involvement in the play-offs, when yes you have guessed it, East Stirling are the visitors!
