FANS will have the chance this Sunday to play with their former heroes and at the same time raise much needed funds to boost the Cowden war chest the promotion challenge in Ladbrokes League 2.
A special game will take place at Central Park which will feature a range of Cowdenbeath legends and supporters have had the opportunity to ‘buy’ a place to play alongside them. The game will have a 1.30pm kick-off.
It has been organised by fan, Colin Nelson, who wants to see the club coffers boosted for the new season.
Colin said on Monday: "I have my 10 fans/players as
well as the ex players. Two or three ex players dropped out like Paul McQuade, Dean Brett and Mark Baxter, however they have been replaced by Kenny Adamson and Brian Fairbairn."
Such legends as Craig Toorie Winter will be in action and it will be a day of memories for many fans.
