Cowdenbeath have made a move to increase their firepower with the signing of striker Josh Morris.
The 25-year-old, a former Kelty Hearts player who netted a record 34 goals for Hawick Royal Albert last season, has penned a one year deal.
Morris has also turned out for Vale of Leithen and Berwick Rangers but it was his prolific form for the Lowland League side that captured Cowden's attention.
His Hawick haul last term included a hat-trick that knocked his old club, Berwick, out of the Scottish Cup and there were a number of other SPFL sides interested in his signature.
Boss Gary Locke will hope Morris can fire his team into promotion contention in League Two and prove an able replacement for Kris Renton, who hit 10 goals for the Blue Brazil last season but has now left for Alloa.
