Brendyn gets call up
THE Scotland Youth Committee recently convened to select their team for the forthcoming British Internationals and there was good news for one of the members of Fife's Youth Academy as Ballingry teenager Brendyn Donnelly (pictured with sponsor Ronnie Grant of R.B. Grant Electrical Contractors) was chosen to represent his country at national level with the Scottish youth team.
The home international will be held in Llanelli, Wales, in April.
Brendyn, who plays his darts on a Friday night with the Craigie Bar's A team, is delighted to be given the chance to play for Scotland once again and is also in the running for a place in the national side's WDF World Cup squad for the event which will be held in Belgium in July of this year and at the age of sixteen he still has a few years left in him at this level.
Joining Brendyn in the squad for the Internationals are Arran Edwards (West Lothian), Bradley Weston (Grampian) and Neil Cooper, also from Grampian.
In the girls team the two players have also came from the Grampian region and they are Emily Davidson and Louise Duncan.
