Baikie is new Ore Park boss

BALLINGRY Rovers' new manager is former Cowdenbeath supremo Dave Baikie.

Dave was manager of the Blue Brazil in the mid noughties at a time the club finished third in Division Three.

Since then he has been a success at East Fife winning promotion to Division Two and then went back to the junior ranks with Linlithgow Rose.

Said a statement issued this week on behalf of the Ore Park committee, "We are delighted that Dave has agreed to join us.

"His record in the junior ranks is second to none and we are sure that he will do very well with us."

He will be assisted by Graeme Irons and Derek Carr and goalkeeping coach Willie Crowe.
