FIFE Darts Association held their annual youth competition on Saturday with Ballingry's Brendyn Donnelly in great form.

Tthe players making their way through to the semi-finals saw Jordan Forbes (Glenrothes) win his way to the final with a 3-0 win against Liam McCormick (Dunfermline) and in the other semi Jamie Clark (Dunfermline) and Brendyn fought out one of the best games of the day with Brendyn winning a fifth leg shoot out to stake his place in the final where he then went on to win by three legs to one to win the title.

This was a significant win for Brendyn, who is pictured with one of his sponsors, Ronnie Grant of R.B. Grant Electrical Contractors, as he has been looking for that magnificent seventh youth title having won six on the bounce earlier in the year only to lose in two finals of the last three tournaments he has played complete with a semi-final exit at the recent Berwick weekend.

Not only was this Brendyn's seventh competitive win but it also meant he had won the Fife Youth Singles for a third year in succession.
