SATURDAY'S junior card saw a big cup win for Hill of Beath Hawthorn and an East Premier League success for Ballingry Rovers.
In the Central League Dundonald Bluebell won the big derby with Lochore Welfare.
Hill of Beath Hawthorn 7, Dunbar United 0.
THIS Fife and Lothians Cup tie was very one-sided with the Keir's Parkers scoring almost at will.
Haws dominated the first-half and took the lead in five minutes through a Stephen Bathgate penalty and in 17 minutes they stretched their advantage when Barry Smith headed in an Andy Roberts cross.
When Roberts headed hom a Fraser Beveridge corner Haws were in easy street but before the break Bathgate added number four from close in after a good Michael Stewart cross.
The second half saw more of the same and Bathgate made it 5-0 with a fine individual effort when he cut in and fired a shot past the 'keeper.
Stewart added a sixth after a good Roberts cut-back. Haws added a seventh late on with a fine volley from Stuart Haddow.
Ballingry Rovers 3, Fauldhouse United 1.
BALLINGRY Rovers are virtually safe in the East Premier League after this win.
The breakthrough came when Craig Smart found a chink in the United armour and fired home.
The second period saw Rovers continue to have the better of things and James Adam slotted home number two.
But Fauldhouse came into the picture and pulled a goal back.
Ballingry did not panic and kept putting together some nice moves and from one of them Ally Campbell got the safety goal with a well placed shot.
Fauldhouse saw three men sent-off in the second period but then Rovers had Adam Moffat dismissed.
Lochore Welfare 2, Dundonald Bluebell 3.
LOCHORE Welfare, after five successive wins, came close to holding promotion-chasing Dundonald.
Bluebell took the lead in only two minutes when Sam Linton shot them ahead but soon after Lochore player-boss Craig Reynolds was pulled down in the box and Craig Paterson levelled from the spot.
However, their equality lasted less than five minutes when Graeme Mills headed home and then the visitors grabbed number three from a Derek Wallace finish after good work by Gordon Brown.
In the second-half Lochore eventually struck when, following a hand ball in the box, Paterson again scored from the spot.
This set up an exciting finish with Dundonald down to 10 men through the dismissal of Derek Wallace and there was controversy when a Reynolds header looked to have crossed the line but the referee waved play on.
Crossgates Primrose 2, Luncarty 3.
BOTTOM of the Central League Luncarty shocked Crossgates Primrose at Humbug Park with a dramatic finish.
Primrose had dominated the game and once Brian Thomson had given them an early lead it looked like a case of how many.
Ross Sneddon added a second before the break and in the second period Luncarty had to work overtime to keep the hosts out.
However, with three minutes left Luncarty pulled one back from the spot and then on time grabbed the equaliser.
In time added on Primrose went all out for the winner but it was the visitors who got the vital strike from another penalty after a challenge by Crossgates 'keeper Dale Wetherspoon which earned him a red card.
Lochgelly Albert 1, Thornton Hibs 2.
ALBERT made life very difficult for Thornton Hibs at Gardiner's Park.
Both teams created one or two really good openings in the first half and Stevie Brown and Greg Robertson should have done better with a couple of them for Lochgelly.
Still there was everything to play for in the second period but Hibs struck in the first minute of the second half which gave Albert an uphill task.
A second Hibs goal in 56 minutes seemed to have taken the game away from the home side but Ross Kinnell hit the post and then Brown struck after running onto a through ball but it proved to be too little too late.
