LAST Saturday's local junior card was wiped out by the cold weather but things are looking more hopeful this weekend.
The East Super League games involving Kelty Hearts (at Lochee United) and Hill of Beath Hawthorn (at home to Armadale) were early casualities which were quickly followed by Dundonald Bluebell’s Premier Division match at Kinnoull and the Crossgates Primrose-Pumpherston South Division game following soon after along with the East of Scotland Cup match involving Lochore and Dunbar.
The last game to be postponed was the Lochgelly Albert v Harthill South Division fixture which was put off at 11.30am.
So the clubs will be hoping for better weather this Saturday and with a dampy milder day on Friday things are hopeful.
