THE Blue Brazil Boys Club started their new mini football team in May this year for kids born in the year 2008.

So successful was the attendance that the club decided to make two groups as they had a strong 2009 representation.

Both teams have settled in very well and are already showing signs that they will be an asset to the club for years to come.

Ross McMillan heads up the 2009’s with Liam Parrish looking after the 2008’s, and during the winter period the boys train once a week indoors at Beath High School and will switch to the club’s Venters Park during the summer .

BBBC’s John Mitchell said, “I think it’s important that we get the kids in at a young age and get them used to being part of a team.

“The emphasis at the moment from the coaches is that they all take part and more importantly they enjoy themselves and want to keep coming along.” The coaches hope to add one or two to the groups, anyone interested can contact Ross on 07772608248 and Liam on 07427107576.
