KELTY fighter Connor Law produced a dream start to his professional career on Saturday.

The 22 year-old, who came so close to winning a spot in the Scottish Commonwealth Games team, made his debut in the pro ranks at Ravenscraig, Motherwell, by stopping Lincolm fighter, Aaron Robinson, in the first round.

He made an ‘all guns blazing’ start to the fight by putting Robinson down with a strong left and had him down again before the referee stopped the contest.

Connor is determined to put the disappointment of losing a fight-off for the Commonwealth Games behind him and has his eye firmly on winning a British title.
