THE first of the practice sessions at the Cowdenbeath Racewall begins on Sunday February 18 and whilst not specifically aimed at new drivers we can expect to see quite a few taking the opportunity to get their cars set up, writes Jim Turner.
In the saloons look for the stunning new car of Greg and Marc Honeyman whist there is a good chance that Jason Secker will have his Aldous built car ready for action.
There should be quite a few of the local drivers ready to race with Ross Watters, Eck Cunningham and Euan Mathieson hoping to get a good start to the season.
With the ORCi stock rod World Final at the Racewall later in the year expect to see a few of the contenders for this title bringing their cars out to race.
Aaron Hastie (Ceres) has bought another 1300saloon and he will be keen to make sure that the car is set up for the start of the season.
Practice starts at 1.00pm and will finish at 4.00pm but check the website just in case of inclement weather.
