THE July draw of the Cowdenbeath Supporters Club 100 Club took place at Central Park last Tuesday before the Barrs Irn Bru Cup-tie against East Fife.

Ball number 34 was picked out by a special guest David Bergin who is a Manchester Utd and FC United fan and to his credit made a long trip from England for the game.

This made club director Alan Smart win £150. Alan has asked for his winnings to be donated to Club 135. The next draw will be announced.

David as of late has taken a real interest in Cowdenbeath F.C as of late due to his touring of Scotland and interest of the Scottish footballing grounds.

Said the 100 Club's Scott Southgate: "Unfortunately we were not able to send David home for a victory but he admits the side have significantly improved since the last time he witnessed the Blue Brazil at Central Park last season, and it was a joy to behold from Cowdenbeath's first-half performance demonstrating what this team are capable of.

"The 100 club is also proud to announce the sponsorship of Jason Talbot this season and wish him a quick recovery from injury".

The 100 Club chairman Scott is also in the process of restructuring the 100 Club committee securing two new volunteers to undertake office-bearer positions and would like to encourage more 100 Club members to join the committee 'so we can build on the fantastic history of fundraising efforts the 100 club has provided for Cowdenbeath F.C over the past seven years and to lead the 100 Club into testing, exploring new and implementing new avenues'.
