HACKERS struck the Cowdenbeath FC website when the donate button on the site was rendered inoperable and replaced by a Bitcoin message.

Club director David Allan commented: "Cozy Digital have remedied this for us and it is again working satisfactorily.

"It will of course continue to be monitored. The boards with names of all donors to be displayed at Central Park now need to be ordered and so we will draw initial line for this at May 31 for names.

"It is suggested we now put these Boards in Club Lounge (which could be renamed Club 135 Lounge) – additional boards of course will be added over time as more donors contribute".

Injured striker Ryan Connelly had his anterior cruciate ligament surgery last week which involved an allograft (donor hamstring used). He of course now has the rehab period ahead on into 2019.

Cowdenbeath FC were delighted to have their Club licence renewed by the SFA at bronze level on May 23.

The club has made its submissions to the SFA in respect of the complaints issued following the match v Cove Rangers.
