DUNDONALD Bluebell need only a draw at Broxburn on Saturday to secure fourth top spot in the East Super League after last night's big win over bottom of the table Forfar West End.

West End have found the Super League a huge challenge this season and they were soon behind at Moorside to a Barry Sibanda strike.

Archie Campbell made it 2-0 at half-time and Bluebell were on cruise control when Campbell struck again after 55 minutes.

Forfar kept at it and pulled one back but Sibanda hit his second and 'Bell's fourth late on.

The result takes them on to 52 points and a draw at Broxburn at the weekend will give them fourth spot.

Meanwhile the bragging rights are with Lochgelly Albert with a narrow 1-0 success over Crossgates Primrose in the big derby game at Humbug Park last night.

A top six spot was the prize for the winner and it was a tight game with defences dominating in lovely conditions.

However, the Berts took the lead in 17 minutes when Martin Perrie finished well.

Primrose came close a few times but the goal separated the sides at the break and after the interval Crossgates battled hard for a leveller but the Albert defence stood firm.

Primrose finish seventh with 43 points but if Albert beat Stoneyburn on Saturday away from home they will end up in fifth spot on 49.

Lochore Welfare went into their last game at Newburgh needing a win to finish ninth in the North Division.

In 14 minutes Adam Doig fired Lochore in front and then four minutes later Ewan Robertson made it 2-0.

There were chances for Welfare to go nap before the break but they did not convert them and when Newburgh pulled one back in 48 minutes there were concerns among the visiting fans.

However, the defence was up to the mark and they held on to take their points total to 27 and securing ninth spot, a much better season for them.
