BENARTY Primary School Karate Club students did some power punching at the recent Fife Shotokan Grading in Dunfermline.
The chilly conditions did not deter five students from doing a short course with Sensei Kevin Slaney then sitting their Grading.
Although Kata: set patterns and movement was a challenge across the small cohort, their fighting spirit and dynamic punching got them over the line!
Katie Martin progressed to Yellow belt while her brother moved up to Red belt- a major achievement.
June Grant, again showed strong spirit and moved up to a Red and white belt.
Imogen Swain-showed fantastic energy to gain her Orange belt while Murran Faulds moved up to Orange and White.
"It was a fine performance from them all and they deserve the warmest congratulations," said teacher Andrew McNeill.
